Islamabad, In a significant step toward strengthening economic ties, Pakistan and Turkiye have committed to enhancing their bilateral trade, setting an ambitious target of five billion dollars. The agreement came during discussions between Pakistan’s Commerce Minister, Jam Kamal Khan, and the Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr. Mehmet Pacaci.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting focused on the need for improved connectivity between the two nations as a pathway to achieving this substantial increase in trade volume. Ambassador Pacaci stressed the potential for economic growth through this enhanced partnership.
Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan expressed positive expectations for the future of trade relations between Pakistan and Turkiye, indicating plans for further collaboration in the commerce sector.
