Pakistan and Turkiye Commit to Deepening Bilateral Relations

Islamabad, Pakistan and Turkiye have agreed to enhance their cooperation across various sectors, following discussions between Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz, and Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Tehran. The meetings occurred on the sidelines of a memorial ceremony for the late Iranian President Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions underscored a mutual commitment to strengthen ties, with Prime Minister Sharif reiterating an invitation to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for an official visit to Pakistan. The talks highlighted the continued focus on strengthening the partnership between the two nations in multiple domains.
