Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with a delegation from Pegasus Airlines and Lucky Cement Limited to discuss advancements in Pakistan’s aviation sector. Mr. Mehmat T. Nane, Chairperson of Pegasus Airlines, shared insights from the Turkish aviation strategy, emphasizing potential benefits for Pakistan. Discussions also covered future collaboration and the alignment of these efforts with the Prime Minister’s vision to boost the local aviation industry.
According to Press Information Department, the meeting included Mr. Muhammad Ali Tabba, CEO of Lucky Cement Limited, who accompanied Mr. Mehmat T. Nane. They explored various aspects of the Turkish aviation experience that could be adopted by Pakistan. Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb praised the achievements of the Turkish aviation industry and underscored the importance of aviation sector collaboration in the context of broader bilateral relations. He mentioned a previous discussion with the Turkish Trade Minister aimed at enhancing trade and business links, viewing this as part of a larger strategy to strengthen ties between Pakistan and Turkey across multiple sectors, including aviation.
