Pakistan and Tajikistan Advocate for Stronger Parliamentary Connections

Islamabad: In a significant meeting today in Dushanbe, Pakistan and Tajikistan have reiterated their commitment to strengthen ties through continuous interaction between their parliamentarians. The discussion, held between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Muhammadtoir Zokirzoda, Chairman of the Lower House of the Parliament of Tajikistan, focused on enhancing cooperation and fostering closer relationships between the two nations at the parliamentary level.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both leaders expressed satisfaction with the current state of inter-parliamentary cooperation. They agreed to fortify the existing parliamentary friendship groups and continue regular parliamentary exchanges to further improve bilateral relations. Prime Minister Sharif underscored the crucial role of parliamentarians in bridging the peoples of both countries, highlighting the importance of these exchanges in diplomatic and cultural integration.
