Pakistan and Sri Lanka Explore Enhanced Defence Collaboration

Colombo, In a recent meeting, Pakistan’s Defence Secretary Hamood Uz Zaman Khan and Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe engaged in discussions to bolster bilateral defence relations and address regional security concerns.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting in Colombo followed the Defence Secretary’s participation in the fourth Pakistan-Sri Lanka Defence Dialogue, where senior military officials from both countries deliberated on various aspects of defence cooperation. The dialogue focused on expanding defence collaboration through initiatives like training exchange programs, bilateral defence exercises, and maritime cooperation.

These discussions represent a continuing effort to strengthen the defence ties between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, contributing to regional stability and security.
