Pakistan and Somalia Seek Enhanced Collaboration at OIC

Islamabad, In a significant diplomatic engagement, Pakistan and Somalia have deliberated on the prospects of augmenting coordination within the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The discussions took place in Jeddah, marking a concerted effort by both nations to strengthen their collaborative endeavors at this pivotal international platform.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting involved Pakistan’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the OIC, Syed M Fawad Sher, and Somalia’s Permanent Representative to the OIC, Abdul Rahim Osman. The dialogue underscored a mutual commitment to enhance cooperation across various sectors, reflecting the two countries’ intentions to leverage the OIC platform for broader engagement.

The engagement between Pakistan and Somalia at the OIC level highlights the importance both nations place on Islamic solidarity and collective action within the organization.
