Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on disaster management cooperation between Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority and the Singapore Civil Defence Force in Islamabad. The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in disaster preparedness and response.
According to Press Information Department, the MoU underscores a mutual commitment between Pakistan and Singapore to improve resilience against natural disasters. The collaboration is expected to bolster both nations’ capabilities in managing and responding to disasters effectively.
