Pakistan and Saudi-Based Al-Bawani Holdings Sign LOI to Boost Employment Opportunities

Riyadh, In a significant move to enhance employment opportunities for Pakistani workers, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Jawad Sohrab Malik, signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Al-Bawani Holdings during his visit to Riyadh. This agreement promises to open new job avenues for Pakistani professionals and workers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to Ministry of Overseas Pakistani and Human Resource Development, SAPM Malik, along with key dignitaries including HE Ambassador Ahmad Farooq, visited Al-Bawani Holdings, a leading Saudi conglomerate in the construction sector. During the visit, they were briefed about the company’s extensive portfolio and ongoing global projects. Malik praised the skills and capabilities of the Pakistani workforce, leading to the signing of the LOI between the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) and Al-Bawani. This agreement sets a legal framework for cooperation and coordination, aimed at providing employment opportunities for Pakistani workers in Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, Al-Bawani Holdings committed to establishing a state-of-the-art HR training center in Pakistan. This center aims to further train and equip the Pakistani workforce with skills meeting international standards, thereby enhancing their global job prospects. SAPM Malik underscored the importance of this initiative in expanding employment opportunities for Pakistanis worldwide.
