Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Welcome Progress in US-Iran Negotiations


Islamabad: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have expressed optimism over the ongoing United States-Iran talks, which are reportedly in their final stages. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, and Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud, discussed the matter during a phone conversation.



According to Radio Pakistan, both ministers voiced hope that the US-Iran negotiations would lead to enduring peace and stability in the region. The Saudi Foreign Minister acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts to support mediation and dialogue throughout the negotiation process.



In addition to discussing the US-Iran talks, the two officials also addressed the upcoming Regional Four Foreign Ministers (R-4) meeting, which is set to take place in Egypt later this month.
