Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Commit to Strengthening Economic Cooperation

Washington DC: In a significant development, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to further enhance their economic relationship. This commitment was made during a meeting between Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and his Saudi counterpart, Mohammed Aljadaan, held on the sidelines of the World Bank-IMF Annual Meetings. The discussions focused on deepening mutually beneficial economic ties, expanding bilateral trade, and facilitating investments in key sectors, emphasizing the longstanding fraternal bonds between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both ministers acknowledged the importance of historical ties and discussed potential areas for enhanced cooperation, particularly in the energy sector where Saudi Arabia has recently implemented reforms.
