Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Collaborate to Enhance Energy Efficiency

Islamabad, In a significant move to bolster economic growth, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to exchange expertise, particularly in making the energy sector more efficient. This agreement was reached during discussions between Pakistan’s Minister for Power, Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, and Saudi Minister of Energy, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al-Saud, in Riyadh.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting included delegation-level talks where both nations expressed their intent to continue the exchange of experts in the energy sector and other vital economic areas. The collaboration aims to develop a comprehensive strategy to enhance Pakistan’s energy landscape, drawing on Saudi Arabia’s experience.

The two countries plan to maintain this cooperative effort, which will allow them to benefit mutually from each other’s expertise. Pakistan specifically aims to refine its policy-making processes in the energy sector by leveraging insights from Saudi experiences.
