Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, convened a meeting with Vladimir Kolokoltsev, the Interior Minister of the Russian Federation, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. The meeting was attended by Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi and Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry.
According to Press Information Department, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed satisfaction with the current trajectory of Pakistan-Russia relations, highlighting the significance of recent high-level visits and exchanges between the two nations. The discussions covered a range of topics, including opportunities to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, culture, and tourism. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening people-to-people connections and maintaining collaboration in multilateral forums such as the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
