MOSCOW: Pakistan and Russia have reached an understanding to enhance bilateral cooperation, focusing on the transport sector. This development emerged from a meeting held on Tuesday between Pakistan’s Minister for Power, Sardar Awais Leghari, and Russia’s Minister for Transport, Roman Starovoyt.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions centered on the potential of expanding connectivity between the two nations, viewed as beneficial not only for Pakistan and Russia but for the entire region. Both parties reviewed ongoing bilateral cooperation projects across road, rail, and air sectors.
During the meeting, Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari expressed appreciation for the strengthening ties between the countries and extended an invitation to Roman Starovoyt to visit Pakistan. The ministers agreed to maintain communication and further cooperation efforts.
