Pakistan and Romania Celebrate 60 Years of Diplomatic Ties


Islamabad: Pakistan and Romania today commemorated the 60th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, marking a significant milestone that highlights the longstanding friendship and cooperative spirit between the two nations. This celebration not only reflects on the historical journey of bilateral relations but also sets the stage for future collaboration across various sectors.



According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the bilateral relationship has been marked by mutual efforts to promote global peace, stability, and development. Over the decades, Pakistan and Romania have engaged in numerous collaborative endeavors, solidifying their partnership through mechanisms like Bilateral Political Consultations and cooperation at international platforms such as the United Nations.



The anniversary was marked by an exchange of congratulatory messages between the Foreign Ministers of both countries, who praised the achievements and progress of their partnership and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation for mutual benefits. To symbolize this special occasion, a joint logo was released, intended for use in all official communications by the embassies of both countries throughout the year.



Additionally, a series of celebratory events are planned by both nations to honor this historic milestone, underscoring the depth and durability of their relationship.
