Pakistan and Qatar Leaders Call for Urgent De-escalation Amid Regional Tensions


Islamabad: Pakistan and Qatar have underscored the urgent need for de-escalation in the face of prevailing regional and international tensions. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, to address the pressing issues.



According to Radio Pakistan, the leaders discussed current regional and international developments, stressing the importance of swift de-escalation measures. The Qatari side commended Pakistan’s continuous efforts to foster peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy.



Both leaders affirmed the strong bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar and agreed to maintain close communication as events continue to unfold.
