Pakistan and Qatar Explore Startup Exchange to Boost Innovation

Islamabad: Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima has discussed initiatives aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Pakistan. In a meeting with Dr. Jack Lau, President of Qatar Science and Technology Park, the minister proposed a startup exchange program between the two nations to enhance tech training for Pakistani youth.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the dialogue emphasized the mutual benefits that Pakistan and Qatar can derive from each other’s experiences in the technology sector. The minister highlighted the importance of equipping the youth with the latest technological skills to foster innovation and growth.

Dr. Jack Lau encouraged Pakistani entrepreneurs to engage with cutting-edge foundational technologies in Qatar, suggesting that such collaboration could lead to significant advancements in both countries’ tech landscapes.
