Pakistan and Malaysia Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Ties in Trade and Education


Islamabad: In a significant step towards enhancing bilateral relations, Pakistan and Malaysia have pledged to deepen their trade and investment ties, educational connections, workforce development, and people-to-people contacts. This commitment was voiced during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar of Pakistan and his Malaysian counterpart Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan in Jeddah, held on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Meeting of the Executive Committee of the OIC.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both nations acknowledged the positive development of their bilateral relations and the robust cooperation across various sectors. During the discussions, they recognized the importance of the OIC as a vital platform for promoting dialogue and cooperation among member countries, committing to uphold the organization’s principles of solidarity, cooperation, and mutual support.



The Foreign Ministers also emphasized the necessity for joint initiatives to address emerging global challenges, signaling a forward-looking approach to international relations and mutual development.
