Pakistan and Lebanon Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Ties


Davos, In a significant development on the international stage, Pakistan and Lebanon have pledged to enhance their bilateral relations. This commitment was made during a meeting between Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, and his Lebanese counterpart, Najib Mikati, at the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the leaders of both countries expressed a mutual desire to deepen their diplomatic and strategic ties. The meeting focused on various aspects of their relationship, emphasizing the potential for increased collaboration in multiple areas.



A significant portion of their discussion was devoted to the ongoing situation in Palestine. Both Prime Ministers Kakar and Mikati expressed profound concern over the troubling events in the region, particularly highlighting the suffering of innocent Palestinians, including women and children, due to the actions of Israel.



The conversation also touched upon the broader regional dynamics, with both leaders exchanging views on the current geopolitical climate and its implications for their respective countries and the wider Middle East.
