Islamabad, In a crucial development in bilateral relations, Pakistan and Kuwait have mutually expressed the desire to deepen and expand their ties.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this intent was conveyed during a meeting between Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah.
Prime Minister Kakar underscored the importance Pakistan places on its relationship with Kuwait, focusing on enhancing cooperation in diverse sectors like trade, energy, IT, labor, minerals, and investments. The meeting, part of the Prime Minister’s two-day official visit to Kuwait, also involved discussions on the close cooperation between the two countries at various international platforms. The Prime Minister appreciated Kuwait’s recruitment of Pakistani manpower in multiple fields, and the Crown Prince reciprocated these sentiments, emphasizing the significance of the bilateral relationship.
The visit is primarily aimed at signing multiple Memorandums of Understanding to transform the long-standing bilateral relations into economically beneficial partnerships.
