Pakistan and Kuwait Set to Enhance Bilateral Trade and Investment


Islamabad: In a key development aimed at bolstering economic ties between Pakistan and Kuwait, Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Privatization and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan met with Kuwaiti Ambassador Abdul Rehman Jay Al-Mutiari to discuss enhancing bilateral trade and investment. The discussions focused on various collaborative projects and fostering stronger business relationships between the two nations.



According to Press Information Department, the meeting covered a range of proposals aimed at promoting trade activities and investment from Kuwait to Pakistan. Minister Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized the importance of advancing “Business to Business” and “Government to Government” engagements, expressing optimism about achieving substantial results, particularly through private sector involvement. Ambassador Al-Mutiari reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to supporting Pakistan’s economic development and completing ongoing bilateral agreements. He also acknowledged the significance of the relationship with Pakistan and expressed eagerness to finalize contracts previously signed by Kuwaiti institutions.



The discussions also highlighted the positive impact of Minister Khan’s recent visit to Kuwait significantly contributed to the development of bilateral relations and the promotion of mutual trade. This ongoing dialogue is expected to continue fostering economic growth and stronger ties between Pakistan and Kuwait.
