Karachi: Pakistan’s Navy Ship PNS ZULFIQUAR and Republic of Korea’s Navy Ship WANG GEON engaged in a coordinated Passage Exercise in the North Arabian Sea, aiming to strengthen their operational interoperability and professional ties through tactical maneuvers and communication drills.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the two naval vessels operated under the task forces of Combined Maritime Forces (CMF), specifically CTF-150 and CTF-151. These task forces are tasked with deterring illicit maritime activities such as drug trafficking and piracy, which pose a threat to security in international waters.
The exercise highlights the commitment of both navies to regional peace and security. The Pakistan Navy reiterated its readiness to address both conventional and nonconventional challenges in the region.
