Pakistan and Kenya Strengthen Health Sector Cooperation

Islamabad, Pakistan and Kenya have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in the health sector, following a meeting between Kenyan Ambassador Mary Nyambura Kamau and Pakistan’s Caretaker Federal Minister for Health Dr. Nadeem.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both parties agreed to expedite the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formalize this cooperation.

Dr. Nadeem mentioned the upcoming Global Health Security Summit, scheduled for January, aimed at preparing low-income countries for potential future pandemics. He extended an invitation to Ambassador Kamau to participate in the Summit, highlighting its significance in global health security.
