Mashad, Iran: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to fortify their bilateral relations by focusing on enhanced connectivity, trade, and people-to-people exchanges. This agreement was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, and his Kazakh counterpart, Murat Nurtleu, on the sidelines of the 28th Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the two Deputy Prime Ministers engaged in discussions on a range of bilateral issues of mutual interest and exchanged perspectives on recent regional and global developments. Both leaders highlighted the significance of regional platforms in facilitating inter-regional connectivity and trade cooperation among the member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
Ishaq Dar also held discussions with Dr. Asad Majeed, the Secretary General of the ECO, focusing on the organization’s vital role in promoting regional cooperation. Dar reiterated Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to the ECO’s vision of fostering regional connectivity and economic collaboration.
