Pakistan and Kazakhstan Strengthen Cultural Ties


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Kazakhstan have agreed to enhance cooperation in arts and culture, marking a significant step towards strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.



The agreement was reached during a meeting between Usman Shah, the Honorary Advisor to the Federal Minister of National Heritage and Culture Division, and Yerzhan Kistafin, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan, held in Islamabad on Friday.



Usman Shah emphasized the role of cultural and educational exchanges in fostering mutual understanding and strengthening ties between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. He noted that these exchanges are vital for building a solid foundation for future cooperation.



During the meeting, Ambassador Kistafin revealed that Kazakhstan is preparing plans to deepen collaboration with Pakistan. These plans include a proposal to co-produce a film that will explore the shared cultural heritage of the two countries.



Additionally, both sides discussed the development of a joint cultural roadmap, aiming to facilitate and promote cultural exchange initiatives and projects. This roadmap is expected to serve as a framework for future collaborations in the arts and culture sectors.
