Rawalpindi, In a move to strengthen bilateral relations, the Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, met with Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan. The meeting focused on enhancing the defense cooperation between the two nations, acknowledging Kazakhstan’s strategic importance in Central Asia and its potential as a key international player.
According to Press Information Department, during the meeting in Islamabad, Minister Asif expressed Pakistan’s appreciation for its strong and friendly ties with Kazakhstan, emphasizing the mutual goodwill and understanding that underpin the relationship. He noted Kazakhstan’s significant geographical and resource-based stature in Central Asia, which contributes to its influence on the global stage.
