Islamabad, In a significant move to bolster bilateral relations, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafan met with Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain. The two discussed enhancing cooperation, including a proposal to exchange student data to prevent incidents of violence and potentially expand airline connectivity between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, during the meeting, Minister Hussain suggested that both countries should organize a security dialogue to address and ensure the safety of their students and citizens abroad. He also envisioned the expansion of business through airline cooperation, suggesting that Kazakhstan’s airlines could facilitate increased communication and travel between the two countries. Ambassador Kistafan highlighted the importance of tackling Islamophobia and promoting religious dialogue as priorities for Muslim nations. He noted that Kazakhstan is preparing to host a religious conference next month, expressing hope that Pakistan’s participation would further strengthen religious dialogue and cooperation.
