Pakistan and Japan Initiate Technical Intern Training Programme to Enhance Skills

Tokyo, In a significant move to bolster workforce skills, Pakistan and Japan have inked a Technical Intern Training Programme, marking a pivotal step in the collaboration between the two countries for skill enhancement of Pakistani workers. This program, signed today in Tokyo, aims to provide Pakistani workers with the opportunity to learn and acquire Japanese skills while working.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the agreement was facilitated between the Overseas Employment Corporation of Pakistan and the Popular Human Resource Cooperative based in Osaka. The initiative is designed to enable Pakistani workers to gain hands-on experience and technical skills that are highly valued in the global job market.

Prior to the signing, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Tokyo, Raza Bashir Tarar, held meetings with Itamiya Goro, Chairman of the Social Welfare Corporation “Ikeda Satsuki-kai,” and Suga Tetsuya, Representative Director of Popular Human Resource Cooperative. These discussions underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen bilateral relations through cooperative projects that offer tangible benefits to their citizens.

The Technical Intern Training Programme is expected to open new avenues for Pakistani workers, enhancing their employability and contributing to the skilled labor force in both countries.
