TOKYO: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, Abdul Hameed, met with Japan’s Minister of Justice, Hiroshi Hiraguchi, in Tokyo to explore ways of enhancing cooperation between the two nations. The discussions focused on reinforcing institutional collaboration to support skills development, labor mobility, and capacity building.

According to Radio Pakistan, both representatives acknowledged the significance of people-to-people connectivity, considering it a fundamental component of their bilateral relations. They reiterated their commitment to advancing practical cooperation aimed at delivering tangible benefits to the citizens of both countries.

The meeting also highlighted the ongoing efforts to conclude a new Memorandum of Cooperation on Employment for Skill Development. This agreement is anticipated to provide a robust institutional framework to facilitate the movement of skilled human resources, thereby expanding bilateral economic engagement between Pakistan and Japan.
