Islamabad: Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, has embarked on a three-day official trip to Tehran to revitalize economic cooperation between Pakistan and Iran. He arrived on September 14, 2025, and was greeted at Imam Khomeini International Airport by Mr. Amin Tarfa’a, Advisor to Iran’s Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.
Khan’s agenda includes leading the 22nd session of the Pakistan-Iran Joint Economic Commission and co-chairing the Pakistan-Iran Joint Business Forum. These high-level discussions aim to inject new energy into the two nations’ trade and investment partnership.
The Minister is also slated to meet with prominent Iranian ministers and high-ranking officials to further solidify bilateral trade and investment collaboration. His visit is expected to bolster Pakistan-Iran economic and commercial relations through the Joint Economic Commission and the Business Forum.
