Pakistan and Iran Strengthen Bilateral Ties with Focus on Trade

Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesori and Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam met recently to discuss enhancing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran, focusing on increasing trade and strengthening diplomatic ties. The meeting took place at the Governor’s House in Karachi, with Consul General Hassan Nourian also in attendance.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori emphasized the importance of Pakistan’s relationship with Iran, describing it as a priority for the country. He noted that shared religious sites have already fortified public-level relations between the two nations and expressed Pakistan’s desire to fully benefit from bilateral relations with Iran. Governor Tesori highlighted that increasing trade with Iran is Pakistan’s top priority and that diplomacy will play a crucial role in achieving this goal.

Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghaddam expressed his aspiration for a stronger Pakistan in terms of economy and defense. During his visit, he toured the historic room of the Quaid-i-Azam, participated in a plantation campaign by planting a sapling, and penned his thoughts in the guest book at the Governor’s House.
