Islamabad, 14 Oct 2023: Ministers from Pakistan and Iran have concurred on collaborating towards enhanced healthcare, as per a discussion that transpired in a sideline meeting during the 70th session of the World Health Organization’s Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean, located in Cairo. As stated in a press release from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MOIB), Minister for National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination of Pakistan, Dr. Nadeem Jan, and Iran’s Health Minister, Dr. Bahram Eynollahi, engaged in a discussion concerning the fresh challenges surfacing in the health sector, exploring forward paths to address such challenges to ameliorate the wellbeing of the people in both nations and the region at large.
