Istanbul, Turkey, Pakistan and Iran have united in their call for an immediate cessation of Israeli aggression in Gaza, highlighting the urgency during a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Meeting of D-8 Council of Foreign Ministers.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Ishaq Dar, and Acting Foreign Minister of Iran, Ali Bagheri, expressed their shared commitment to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including political, economic, defense, and security. The discussions also touched upon the ongoing conflicts in Gaza, emphasizing the need for immediate actions to stop the violence and uphold international humanitarian laws.
The meeting underscored the deepening relationship between Pakistan and Iran, with both nations reiterating support for the Palestinian cause and the right to self-determination. The dialogue also recalled the recent high-level exchanges that have positively impacted their bilateral relations.
