Pakistan and Iran Commit to Strengthening Bilateral Relations Through Trade and Energy Cooperation.


ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar welcomed the Foreign Minister of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, and his delegation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today. During their meeting, both sides highlighted the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Iran and emphasized the importance of strengthening these ties.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions centered on increasing bilateral trade, enhancing energy cooperation, and improving border management. Both leaders expressed their commitment to exploring opportunities for trade, investment, and fostering people-to-people contacts.



In addition to bilateral issues, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi addressed the situation in the Middle East. They jointly condemned the Israeli aggression against Palestinians and reaffirmed their support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.
