Pakistan and Iran Commit to Enhanced Bilateral Cooperation in Border Management and Other Areas


Islamabad: In a significant diplomatic engagement, H.E. Dr. Reza Amiri Moghadam, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Pakistan’s Minister for Defence, Defence Production and Aviation, Khawaja Muhammad Asif. The meeting underscored the deep-rooted, fraternal ties between the two nations, which are strengthened by centuries of religious and cultural connections.



According to Press Information Department, the discussion highlighted the effective measures taken by Pakistan in the domain of border management. Minister Asif emphasized the importance of the Joint Border Commission and reiterated the need for continued joint efforts to maintain and enhance border security. Both parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of bilateral cooperation and committed to furthering collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
