Pakistan and Hungary Commit to Strengthening Ties and Expanding Cooperation

Budapest, In the latest round of bilateral political consultations, Pakistan and Hungary have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their relationship and exploring new areas of cooperation. This agreement was reached during the 6th round of the Pakistan-Hungary Bilateral Political Consultations in Budapest, where both nations reviewed their ties and discussed broader regional and global issues.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Pakistan delegation was led by Additional Foreign Secretary for Europe, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, while Deputy State Secretary Ambassador Lazlo Varadi represented the Hungarian side. The consultations focused on maintaining a positive trajectory in the bilateral relations between the two countries, assessing the full spectrum of their ties, and identifying potential areas for future collaboration.

During his visit to Budapest, Ambassador Khan also held meetings with State Secretary for Security Policy and Energy Security, Petar Szataray, and Deputy State Secretary for International Cooperation, Atilla Hidegh. These discussions aimed to deepen engagement in various sectors, reflecting both countries’ interest in strengthening their partnership.
