Hong Kong: Pakistan’s Finance Minister, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, met with Hong Kong’s Chief Executive, John K C Lee, to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, and cultural exchange. According to a statement by Press Information Department, the discussions focused on various aspects of economic collaboration and potential avenues for increased cooperation in sectors including finance, technology, and tourism. Minister Aurangzeb highlighted the importance of reinforcing economic and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Hong Kong, emphasizing shared values and interests.

The meeting was attended by Pakistan’s Ambassador in Beijing, Khaleel Hashmi, and Consul General in Hong Kong, Riaz Ahmed Shaikh, underscoring the commitment of both parties to fostering meaningful engagement across multiple sectors.
