Pakistan and Gambia Strengthen Ties with New Agreements


Islamabad, Pakistan and The Gambia have committed to intensify their bilateral relations through enhanced dialogue and cooperation across multiple sectors including trade, agriculture, education, and tourism. This agreement was solidified during discussions held on the sidelines of the 15th OIC Islamic Summit in Banjul, between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, and his Gambian counterpart, Dr. Mamadou Tangara.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the talks were fruitful, with both nations reaffirming their strong ties rooted in shared values and mutual respect. The meeting also saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for Bilateral Political Consultations, aimed at facilitating ongoing dialogue and strengthening relations. This MoU will serve as a platform for both countries to further collaborate and consult on various bilateral and multilateral issues, reflecting their commitment to a sustained partnership.
