Pakistan and France Pledge to Strengthen Bilateral Ties


Islamabad: In a recent meeting between senior officials from Pakistan and France, the two nations reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation across various sectors. The discussions, held between Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, Additional Secretary (Europe) of Pakistan, and David Bertolotti, Deputy Secretary General of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, focused on the progress of their Bilateral Roadmap for Cooperation 2023.



The consultations reviewed advancements in key areas such as trade, investment, education, culture, and consular matters. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the implementation of the roadmap, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration in these domains.



Beyond bilateral issues, the talks also addressed regional and global developments. The representatives from Pakistan and France agreed to maintain close coordination on issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of partnership in navigating complex international landscapes.
