ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and France have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance collaboration across a spectrum of shared priorities. This understanding was achieved during bilateral consultations held in Islamabad.
The discussions were led by Additional Secretary Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan representing Pakistan, and Deputy Secretary General of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, David Bertolotti, representing France. The two diplomats reviewed progress under the Pakistan-France Bilateral Roadmap for Cooperation 2023.
Both parties expressed satisfaction with its implementation, highlighting key areas such as trade and investment, education, culture, and consular affairs. The consultations also included discussions on regional and global developments, with both nations pledging to maintain close coordination on issues of mutual interest.
