Pakistan and EU Forge Stronger Research Ties

Brussels: Pakistan and the European Union have agreed to explore mechanisms to enhance collaboration between Pakistani institutions and EU research initiatives. This agreement was finalized during a meeting in Brussels between Pakistan’s Ambassador to the European Union, Rahim Hayat Qureshi, and Andreas Schwarz, Head of Cabinet to the EU Commissioner for Startups, Research, and Innovation.

The discussions centered on strengthening the Pakistan-EU knowledge partnership under the Horizon Europe framework. The framework is a significant EU research and innovation program aiming to foster scientific and technological advancements.
