Pakistan and Ethiopia Pledge to Fortify Educational Ties through Joint Working Group

Islamabad, 13 Oct 2023: Pakistan and Ethiopia have taken a concerted step towards the fortification of their educational ties by agreeing to establish a Joint Working Group focused on bolstering cooperation within the education sector, as reported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MOIB). The understanding was developed during a discussion between the Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, Jemal Beker Abdula, and the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, Madad Ali Sindhi, in Islamabad. The dignitaries explored diverse topics of mutual interest and deliberated specifically on strategies to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly within the realms of higher education and vocational training.

The creation of the Joint Working Group is envisioned to synchronize and navigate collaborative endeavours between the two nations in the educational domain. The substantive dialogue between Ambassador Abdula and Minister Sindhi extended into realms including, but not limited to, higher education and vocational training.
