Pakistan and Egypt to Open 4th Pakistan-Africa Trade Conference in Cairo

Cairo, Dr. Gohar Ejaz, Caretaker Federal Minister for Commerce and Industries of Pakistan, and his Egyptian counterpart, Ahmed Samir, are set to inaugurate the 4th Pakistan-Africa Trade Development Conference and Single Country Exhibition in Cairo today.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Ejaz is heading a delegation of over one hundred Pakistani companies to Egypt for the conference. This delegation also includes senior officials from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and Board of Investment.

The conference, which aims to bolster trade ties, will be followed by a two-day single country exhibition on Wednesday and Thursday. This event will feature more than 200 Pakistani businessmen from various sectors, including textiles, engineering goods, food and agriculture, and services. They will seek to explore and establish business collaborations with their African counterparts.
