Islamabad, Pakistan and Egypt have reached an agreement to expand their bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of politics, trade, and investment.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this agreement was reached during a meeting between Additional Foreign Secretary Middle East Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh of Pakistan and Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia Ahmed Shaheen in Egypt. The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen cooperation and maintain an ongoing dialogue.
The two officials also discussed plans for the next round of the Joint Ministerial Commission meeting and Annual Bilateral Consultations, scheduled to take place later this year in Islamabad. These discussions mark a significant step towards deepening the diplomatic and economic ties between Pakistan and Egypt.
