Pakistan and China Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthen Strategic Partnership and CPEC


Islamabad, In a significant meeting held today, Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, to discuss the ongoing development and future prospects of the Pakistan-China strategic partnership and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). This dialogue underscores the robust multi-faceted relationship between the two nations, particularly in terms of economic cooperation.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the meeting focused on reinforcing the all-weather strategic partnership that has long characterized Pakistan-China relations. Discussions covered a range of topics, emphasizing the pivotal role of CPEC in fostering sustainable economic growth and regional connectivity.



Both parties expressed satisfaction with the progress of CPEC projects and reiterated their commitment to overcoming any challenges to ensure the initiative’s success. The meeting also highlighted the mutual interest in expanding cooperation beyond CPEC, to include various sectors that would further integrate the economies of the two countries and enhance bilateral trade.
