Pakistan and China Commit to Strengthening Maritime Ties

Islamabad, In a move to bolster bilateral relations, Pakistan and China have agreed to maintain the momentum of exchanges and enhance ties between their navies. This agreement was reached during the 4th round of the Pakistan-China Maritime Dialogue held in Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both countries expressed satisfaction with their time-tested friendship and All-weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership. They committed to expanding bilateral maritime cooperation, building on the progress made since the 3rd round of dialogue.

The discussion also touched upon the evolving regional and global maritime landscape, with both sides recognizing their mutual cooperation as aligned with their shared vision for a peaceful and prosperous Asia-Pacific region.

It was decided that the 5th round of Maritime Dialogue will take place in China next year, signifying the ongoing commitment of both nations to strengthen their strategic partnership in maritime affairs.
