Beijing: The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing, in partnership with the China International Cultural Communication Center (CICCC), hosted a Star Gala on April 11, 2026, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. The event, which took place in Beijing, gathered diplomats, media, and business leaders to celebrate the enduring partnership between the two nations.

According to Press Information Department, Ambassador Khalil Hashmi underscored the robust inter-state relationship built on mutual trust, respect, and support, highlighting the importance of cultural exchanges in maintaining these ties. Mr. Long Yuxiang, Executive Chairman of CICCC, emphasized the role of cultural communication in fostering mutual understanding, while Ms. Zhai Meiqing, President of Xiangjiang Group, spoke on the importance of cultural industries in promoting connectivity.

The evening featured a variety of cultural performances, including a notable performance by Pakistani artist Ms. Natasha Baig, who sang in both Urdu and Chinese. The event was part of a series of commemorative activities celebrating the diplomatic milestone and underscored the commitment of both countries to strengthening cooperation in cultural industries, media, and youth engagement.
