Pakistan and China Aim to Intensify Economic Ties Through CPEC

Islamabad, In a commitment to solidify their economic relationship, Pakistan and China have reaffirmed their mutual intent to elevate economic collaboration. This specifically involves the high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, convened in Beijing to articulate this resolve.

The discussion also centered on potential strategies to amplify the scale of Chinese investments in Pakistan, pinpointing sectors like IT, mining, infrastructure, and agriculture.
