Pakistan and Canada Aim to Bolster Bilateral Relations

Islamabad, In a recent development, Pakistan and Canada have expressed mutual interest in fortifying their bilateral ties.

According to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this agreement was reached during a telephonic conversation between Canada’s Immigration and Refugees Minister, Mark Miller, and Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti. Minister Miller expressed gratitude to Pakistan for facilitating the repatriation of Afghan refugees to Canada. Additionally, he extended an invitation for Minister Bugti to visit Canada. Bugti highlighted Pakistan’s longstanding role in hosting Afghan refugees and reassured that no actions are being taken against Afghan nationals residing legally in Pakistan.
