Pakistan and Belgium Strengthen Ties, Focus on Multilateral Cooperation

Islamabad, Marking the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Belgium, Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to working collaboratively with Belgium to address global challenges. Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch highlighted the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two countries during a press event.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Joint Communique signed on November 26, 1947, which initiated diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Belgium, has led to a strong bond characterized by mutual interests and regular high-level exchanges. Baloch emphasized the importance of the Bilateral Political Consultation as a foundation for ongoing dialogue and noted the continuous growth in trade and the shared spirit of solidarity and support, especially in times of disaster.
