Pakistan and Belarus to Enhance Bilateral Trade and Educational Ties

Islamabad, Pakistan and Belarus have committed to boosting bilateral trade and enhancing educational and cultural cooperation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the agreement was reached during discussions between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Belarusian counterpart, Sergei Aleinik, on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan. The two nations plan to strengthen their relationship focusing on trade and economic cooperation along with promoting people-to-people exchanges. They also discussed the importance of high-level exchanges and are preparing for the next round of Bilateral Political Consultations in Islamabad.
